"Looks like we're lost, huh, Ron?"
Harry Potter and his friend Ron Weasley had been wandering around the forbidden forest along with their female friend Hermione Granger, during their hunt for the remaining Horcruxes in order to defeat and destroy their sworn mortal enemy, the great and powerful wizard, Lord Voldemort. So far, they have yet to have found one single Horcrux. The only Horcruxes that had been obliterated so far were Tom Riddle's Diary and Marvolo Gaunt's Ring. But where were the rest of the remaining Horcruxes?
Hermione explained to Ron, that the smashed locket with a green snake symbol on the front he was holding in his hand, was nothing but a counterfeit, much to his disappointment, that he had went all through that trouble for nothing.
Speaking of which...
Harry had a feeling that he heard the sound of a snake nearby, and trudged through the leaf-littered Forest to look around. The hissing grew louder and louder as he wandered further and further.
The Raven-haired boy was surprised that his lightning scar on his forehead wasn't hurting, especially when a snake was present in the area. But he knew that he was certain that a snake was around here somewhere.
"Harry?" Ron asked his friend. "What is it?"
"I am sure I heard something," Harry replied, "Some sort of snake."
Harry was capable of speaking Parseltongue. You see, he discovered that he could talk to snakes during his second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during a magic duel with his Slytherin arch-rival Draco Malfoy at Duel Club.
Little did he know, he was being watched by a large brown-scaled serpent with yellow eyes with the ability to use hypnotism on his prey, wrap them in his coils and then make a meal out of them.
