I couldn't hide a smile, as I slithered closer to her. Finally we were alone and no one will disturb us until the zoo opens the next day. That gave me enough time to indtroduce myself and explain everthing. I only had one problem: her panic fear of snakes. Of course I could calm her down with my hypnosis, but I didn't want to use my special skill too early. First of all I wanted to gain her trust, so she could help me to escape from this boring zoo.

The door to my enclosure was closed, so she could nowhere go. Moreover, my big snake body encirlced her, while she pressed against the glass. "Don't worry my poor little detective I mean no harm to you. I am just happy to see you so I can explain everything to you what happened last night" I started the conversation and gave her my tail-tip that she could shake it like a human hand.

I couldn't help but to smile and look in her beautiful eyes. Honestly, I couldn't believe my luck, I must be dreaming, but everything was true.

“My name....Is Bella....Kane.” I gulped nervously as I reached my right hand that was shivering in fear as I reached it out to touch the snake’s thick smooth scale across my hand when I shook the snake’s tail tip like a friendly hand shake.

Deeply, I couldn’t say the same about the indian python who calls himself Kaa. I mean, it’s not everyday that I would encounter not only snakes that I feared the most, but a talking python that somehow has the special ability to understand or speak like a human.

“Oh God…..” I gasped and breathe heavily but I sighed to remain as calm as possible after I gazed down at parts of Kaa’s large body slithering and encircling me while I remained against the glass window, refusing to move closer towards him.

Inside the closed reptile house for the night, I was gazing around the python’s locked cage, anxiously trying to find away out of there because this wasn't a good time and place to even socialize with the talking Python.

“I’m sorry I need to get out of here.....” I paused and stared back at Kaa after he openly admitted that he knows what happened last night during the crime scene in this reptile house.

“What do you mean?” I asked Kaa about what he meant as if he knew anything about what happened during a crime scene of a robbery last night that got me suspicious as I still don't fully trust his theory but yet, I deeply wanted to know what caused the robber to all of the sudden went from an intense criminal to a deluded dazed fool instantly.

I couldn't hide a smile from her as she shook my tail-tip. My plan worked and I was quite happy. While I kept the eye-contact, I could smell her fear and also her lovely scent. Her scent was special...it smelled so smooth and gentle. I was so fascinated by her delicious scent, that I smacked my lips with relish. "Bella Kane...what a lovely name you have my dear detective" I chuckled.

I liked her snake phobic, no idea why. It was simply amazing and amusing. I felt no hurry to rush the situation, finally we have the whole night time and this night will be very unique.

My grin grew wider when I awaken her curiousity. I chuckled contentedly when I remembered the incident last night. It was very funny because the robber surrendered quickly to my hypnotic captivating eyes. But the best part was when he called her Mistress. "Well what do you think what happened last when the robber called you suddenly Mistress? It was certainly entertaining to have own loyal slave, who obeys you in everything. Don't you think so Mistress Bella Kane?" Kaa chuckled as he teased her with the mistress-thing.

Inside the darken closed reptile house of the zoo, I gulped nervously because the way the snake smacked his lips while his fork tongue was briefly flicking around his lips as if he had found fascinated about me other than the fact that in my mind, my first thought was I believed that the python was going to make an attempt to consume me if I was gullible enough to fall for his charm. The snake’s widen yellow eyes looked directly at me which also startled as I still remained alarmed with my back lead against the glass behind me.

“What?” I asked, puzzled by Kaa’s strange question about last night’s crime scene with the robber inside the reptile house and his chuckle flinched me, sending goosebumps across my body but I quickly shook the feeling off of me.

How could the python knew any possible knowledge about last night’s investigation? I understand that there are some animals in this world that have the same amount intelligence as humans, but I’m starting to question myself about this python’s intelligence.

I mean, it was already creepy enough that a robber that almost killed me last night all of the sudden calls me mistress and now I’m trapped in the closed reptile house within the python inside it’s cage without a proper key to let myself out while Kaa questioned me about last night’s investigation.

Just to be sure what I’m dealing with, I bravely decided to test the python’s knowledge to make sure that this was’t a trick just so he can consume me unexpectedly by using my rookie detective skills while still staying alarmed. If any luck, maybe he would let me go too.

So I sighed deeply to remain calm before beginning to interrogate with Kaa like what a detective would do with an eye witness, “Wait a minute, you mean you saw what happened last night?” I asked, realizing that the snake may have witnessed the crime scene last night but I never thought that he would acknowledge it.

I nodded several times playfully with my head, when she asked me and I laughed again because the incident was amusing for me. With my staments and the little teasing I aroused the detective's curiousity, after all I was the only witness who saw what happened last night and I wasn't a stupid snake as she tried to get some important information from me, but I didn't want make it so easy for her. I was aware that I had an advantage and she needed me. "It is obvious that I have done something with the robber before he could rape you. Finally, I couldn't allow that he hurts you" I explained.

I was pretty sure that the young, passionate detective wanted have more information from me, but I wanted to test her if my informations were more important than her fear of snakes. "I'd really love to talk with you further, but it is very late and I'm tired. I guess I go to sleep now. Goodnight my dear, hardworking detective" I yawned before I disappeared into my big, dark tree. Inwardly I chuckled and smiled, because she won't get a wink of sleep here.

It’s true, I couldn’t never sleep in the same environment as the python because I fear that if I do, he’ll consume me.

On the other hand, I do need more answers to solve this awkward investigation. But the biggest challenge for me was to confront the python without my fear of snakes interfering.

As I first looked up and witnessed Kaa slithering back up into his tree, I turned my head to gaze at the exit door which was locked, depending if I should try to escape while the snake was remained somewhere on top of his tree.

I sat down on a rock and lowed my head down to face the ground, having a long thought about the snake’s offer of receiving his information about last night’s investigation or remain afraid until morning when the zoo reopens again.

I yawned quietly out of execution and rubbed my eyes but remained focus on my never-ending detective work. I've been up all night last night with my paperwork on last night's investigation in the reptile house because the robber was looking for more than just money in the zoo but what?

I checked my iPhone from my back pocket to gaze at the time which was 11PM before realizing that I couldn’t call for back up because there’s no wifi service working within the reptile house.

After a long train of thought, I sighed deeply and placed my iPhone back into my back pocket as I raised myself up again from sitting on the rock. I breathed heavily as I slowly and carefully walked towards the tree and looked up to try to relocate the python who was hiding somewhere within the branches of the tree. I may fear snakes since childhood, but I can;t allow that to put my detective work in jeopardy.

“Wait!” I called out for Kaa as I stood beside the tree while facing up to try to find him within the tree above me.

“If what you’re saying is true……I need to know……Whatever you did to him, I……I Appreciated. But why did you help me?” I asked bravely but I sighed deeply in another nervous reaction.

What also puzzles me is that whatever Kaa did to convince that robber last night, he did to save me, but why? And what does this investigation have to do with Kaa?

When she tried to locolate in my tree her human eyes couldn't see me in the dark. I was visibly amused that she was stubborn and wanted to solve the case absolutely. I liked her resolute dedication, but even more I liked her smell, which was heavenly sweet and tempting. The temperatures and humidity were much higher than outside my enclosure, but the girl was brave and kept on her clothes.

As she expected an answer from me why I saved her I let her flounced like a fish on the hook before I stuck out through the leaves. "You want to know why I did that?" I said smiling. Again I circled around her. I don't know why I did it it's probably a quirk. I loved to look directly in her eyes and to confront her with her phobia, while I gave her no possibility to escape. "Well... if I would tell you that you are a beautiful girl and I need friends then would it be only a half-truth" I said as I thoughtfully stroke my chin with my tail-tip.

"Let me put it like this: I saved you because you will be very useful to me" I smiled as I put my tail-tip around her petite shoulders.

"What do you want?" I asked nervously before I gasped and flinched by the feeling on Kaa's tail-tip on my shoulder as I narrowed my frightened eyes at it but I remained still despite my body shivering uncontrollably due to my phobia of snakes because I don't want to create trouble that may affected the python.

If I want to solve this strange investigation, Kaa and I need to have some kind of negotiation just as long as the python would be reasonable enough to cooperate. Kaa even admitted to me that he found me to be beautiful which I didn't know if I should be flattered or creeped out because it's not everyday that I get commented by men or snakes concerning the fact that I never had much luck with men in all my life. I'm more of a misfit because I don't fit well with normal society that don't understand me. I'm also the type of person who knows better than to reveal to the whole world that Kaa is the first snake in the existence that has the ability to understand humans.

So far, it looked Kaa was offering to give me what I need in exchange for whatever it is he has in mind because the word "useful" I assumed he means that he wants me to do something for him in return.....But what?

"L-L-Look, I-I'm flattered.....B-But I need to know what happened last night." I said to Kaa in my shivered frightened voice but I braving remained still, avoiding the sight of Kaa's tail-tip on my shoulder.

"Whatever it is you want, I'm sure we'll work something out.....Just please help me so I can go home." I kindly negotiated Kaa to tell me about last night and promised to give him what he wants in return.

Her nervousness was really adorable and I couldn't stop smiling. She was caught in my enclosure and she musted pla for better or worse by my rules and she really did her best to make me not upset. I tested her further to see how far she would go to get the information to close the case finally. "Well detective, as you can see, I'm a snake that lives here in captivity and therefore I have a little confidence problem. I have often been disappointed by people. In addition, you work for the NYPD and when they read your report, they will not believe you anyway. I would negotiate with you, but first I have to know if I can really trust you. Take off your footwear and we talk about the incident in my tree" I suggested.

Due to my demand, I had brought the detective in a quandary,on the other hand it was part of my ingenious plan. To crown it all I strained her nerves in connection with her phobia as I stroke lovingly her hair. "Oh, I'm pretty sure that we somehow find a solution Mrs. Kane" I chuckled happily.

I’m the one with a strong phobia of trusting any kind of snakes. But in Kaa’s case, I’m willing to make a brave assumption in order to have full prove that this python was telling the truth.

Kaa’s wide smile deeply crept me out because I don’t fully understand what he finds this interrogation amusing. My shivering body remained still before I then felt Kaa’s tail-tip stroking my hair that flinched me as a quiet short squeal escaped from my mouth by the touch as I first turned my head away with my eyes closed, biting my lips together and breathing heavily in uncontrollable fear as if Kaa was waiting to see if I was going to crack and give up in this investigation because of my phobia. It’s this some kind of test that Kaa’s testing me with to see how far will I go to solve this case?

Kaa knew that he had me in a deep quandary and dilemma. I knew that I could easily turned and run away in fear and desperate attempt to escape the reptile house and the zoo without ever to return again, leaving in fear for the rest of my life that cause me to lose my job. What kind of person will I be if I turn my back on this investigation? There’s only one answer for that……A coward. I refused to be known as a coward to the world because of my fear. One way or another, I need to step up and conquer my fear if I want to keep my commitment as a Detective of NYC.

Besides, Kaa did have a point. Even if I had report this information to the police, they will never believe me. This will be the type of case that remains to be top secret from the force for only myself to investigate.

Lastly, I heard Kaa suggesting for me to remove my footwear, referring to my combat boots and meet him up in his tree which I flinched by the thought of it at first.

But after a long thought, I turned my head back around and opened my eyes to look up at Kaa again, avoiding the touch of Kaa’s tail-tip on the bottom of my hair.

“Alright....” I agreed to Kaa’s negotiation as I slowly took a step back away from Kaa’s tail tip.

“But just keep your distance, I’ll be right up.” I informed Kaa as I sat down on a nearby rock and began to remove my combat boots and my socks until my barefoot was revealed.

Strangely, my barefoot felt relived to be out of my boots and socks for fresh air that I’m feeling between my toes. But the humid atmosphere in the python’s cage was began to feel overwhelmed for me that I removed my long black trench coat, revealing my long sleeve black work shirt with the central park zoo logo on it while I was still wearing my black skinny jeans.

I’ve placed my coat and my boots down on top of the rock nearby Kaa’s tree before I looked up at the first branch of the tree above me.

“Just like gym class.” I said to myself as I leaped up until my two hands caught onto the first branch of the tree before I agility swing my legs upward to wrapped around the tree branch that I first hanging upside down but I regained my strength and climbed up until I was now sitting on top of the first branch away from Kaa’s direction who was located in several more branches above me within the tree.

“I’m listening.” I informed Kaa that was in his tree like he requested but I still kept my distance from him.

I smiled when the girl not only took off her footwear, but also her jacket and I was impressed how fast and agile she climbed up the tree. As I expected she didn't climb further, but remained on the first branch. About that I could only laugh and remained stubborn. "My dear detective if you want have the long-awaited details you have to come closer, otherwise I see the distance between us as an offense. I'm not your enemy I am your friend" I said.

Surely the girl hated me that I was mean, because I didn't depart from my plan. My plan was quite cunning, but I had to take care of her phobia first.

To show her that I meaned it serious, I waved at her with my tail. I could already hear her moan. I loved this situation. "Don't be a stranger Bella" I chuckled while I was still waving with my tail-tip.

When Kaa revealed to me that he is my friend not my enemy, I couldn't really say the same about him......At least not yeti too I know for sure what his true attractions are.

I whimpered under my breathe by Kaa's motivation for me to come closer towards his distance as I narrowed my frightened eyes up at his tail-tip waving to me as he repeatedly curled his tail-tip upward to where he was located high above several more branches from below the main ground of the python's cage.

But after I bravely stand on my own two feet with my hands holding onto the tree bark to support my balance, I then gazed up at the next branch above me and I grabbed my hands onto the next branch and used my feet to climb from the tree bark and I repeat the same climbing routine across the tree branches within the tree until I was now higher than 50 feet below the ground as I was now on the highest branch of the tree and now I have get across towards the same branch where Kaa was patiently waiting for me.

"I can't believe I'm doing this." I muttered to myself as I bravely stood on my feet on top of the branch before I leaped off the branch and my hands gripped tightly on the last high branch of the tree.

At first, I gasped in horror as I was first dangling for my life as my feet was dangling in mid air from the ground below me while my arms still grappled around the top branch. My forehead was sweating because of my anxiety, refusing to look down.

But I grunted as I used my feet to climb up the tree bark while using my hands to pull myself up on the tree branch until I've finally reached to the top branch of the tree as I briefly rested myself, sitting on the top branch with my legs spread between the tree branch while my back was leading against the tree bark behind me, breathing heavily out of exhaustion with my hand on my chest as I could feel my heart pounding out intense anxiety.

"I'm here....Now I would really appreciated if you tell me what I need to know, Kaa." I breathed heavily as I was now sitting on the same branch as Kaa who was now just a few itches from my direction, gulping nervously.

She was pretty exhausted from climbing and that was ideal. Of course I could help her, but I did not. When the young Detectvin was resting, I took my next step and formed a seat for her from my long snake body. "Come my child and take a seat. You don't have to sit on the hard branch when I offer you a comfortable seat. You are my guest and I always treat my guests well" I smiled at her. At the same time I waved her back with his cock tip and insisted that she would change her place.

Meanwhile, when we were all alone and undisturbed in my tree, I could hypnotize her. Surely I wouldn't have had any great difficulties, but I wanted to make her slowly ready for hypnosis. "
I will tell you everything what you want my precious. That's what I promised you and Kaa keeps his promises. Just sit down on my coil seat Bella" I said.

While I remained sitting on the top tree branch across from Kaa, I turned my head back around to glaze at Kaa’s tail tip that continued to curled forward as if wanted me to come closer to me. I’ve also noticed that Kaa had somehow used half of the longest and thickest part of his scaled slithered body and swirling it around into a form of a seat.

What made me gasped in my intense nervous reaction after I then heard Kaa insisting that I should take a seat on his coil-formed seat on the tree branch beside him.

Another difficult dilemma accured to me again as I was first unmoved by Kaa’s offer, fearing that this maybe a trick.

“I don’t know, Kaa....” I depended nervously before recalling why I was here in the first place because I was investigating the crime scene inside the reptile house from last night before I got locked inside the python’s cage by my high school bully during my investigation.

Than again, Kaa also promised me that he will cooperate and explain last night’s crime scene if I treat him with respect as an friend other than an enemy. But the same time, Kaa’s motivation by forming his coils into a seat for me had me puzzled and suspicious, wondering why he wanted me to come forward towards me even though I’m now on the same top tree branch as him. But I also had to remain myself that at least Kaa was generous enough to tell me what I need to know since he was the eye witness of the crime scene and somehow according to him, I’m the only one who he can see as trustworthy so I guess it was time for me to return the favor because the last thing I want to become the main course of the evening.

“I suppose……As long as your keep your word……” I gulped nervously and wiped the sweat off my forehead before I slowly began to crawl across the top tree branch while gripping tightly onto the tree branch with my hands.

After I reached towards the coil-formed seat, I raised myself up to my feet on the tree branch before I nervously sat myself down on the center the coil seat. I hate to admit it, but the scaled coil seat felt rather smooth and comfortable on my bottom but I want to be sure that I don’t sink into the coils seat by accident as I had my hands gently gripped onto the edge of the coil seat.

“I-I-I don’t about this, Kaa.....Y-Y-You promise to tell me about last night, right?” I asked and gulped nervously, feeling very anxious as my body shivered in fear on his coil seat.

With every step she took to crawl closer to me my grin grew wider and wider and I became more and more satisfied. I was pretty mean to my new friend that I didn't instantly cooperate with her like a good citizen, instead, I put one demand after another. When she finally managed come to me, I couldn't help but giggle, because it looked so funny. However I wanted to reward her for her efforts and the little tests. Fortunately, my cunning eyes noticed that she found my created seat quite comfortable. Now it was an ideal opportunity to use my hypnosis, but I wanted to wait a little bit, because I had a great idea in my mind. My golden eyes eyed her while I looked happily at her. "Don't trust your new buddy Kaa? You aren't my prey nor I want harm you my dear Bella. You can see me as a good friend who just wants to help you. Let me prove it to you" I said.

I didn't wait for her permission, but immediately went to action. A coil wrapped lightly around her stomach while my tail-tip wrapped around her long, slender leg. Everything happened so fast that I gave her no time to react at all. " I hope you like massages my dear detective" I smiled at her as my snakebody began to vibrate around her butt and leg as my tail-tip gave her additionally a nice foot rub.
